About Shiv Seva Pratishthan

Establishment of Shiv Seva Pratishthan
Our country, India, is both ancient and vast. A wide range of clothing, food, and living conditions can be found here. There is also urban diversity. In such a diverse but socially and culturally united society, "Shiv Seva Pratishthan" was founded with the goal of working with a charitable character in the fields of agriculture, education, business and career guidance, arts, sports, village development, and disaster relief. This initiative was launched on February 11, 2017 in the presence of "Railway Workers Union" and "Shivseva Pratishthan" on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary at "Dehu Road".
The foundation began it's work by conducting a survey in rural areas to determine the need for service in society. Based on the results of this survey, it was determined that the youth of rural areas require guidance on how to apply for government jobs, so experts in the field organised a pre-planned guidance camp. This guidance benefited 800 youth from seven camps, one each in Vadgaon, Kamshet, Malawali, Chinchwad, and Kusgaon.
Pratishthan held study classes in Malwali for four months in a row to teach competitive examination course. Every Saturday and Sunday, three teachers guided the youth. This course benefited approximately 80 students, the majority of whom were boys and girls from remote areas. Along with the teachers, the youth in this study class received advice from railway officials and other experts. At the same time, approximately 1000 people filled out a free online railway exam application form. Many other charitable organisations participated in this activity.

Global Disaster "Corona" Crisis and Social Work 2019
As the year progressed, the global disaster "Corona" caused the world to experience nearly all of the crisis. Needy members of society were receiving assistance on multiple levels and through various channels. Families living below the poverty line (BPL) were starving in the Maval region. Aid was desperately required. The "Shiv Seva Pratishthan" decided to carry out the initiative of distributing food to every family in village Nagnath. Many friends, acquaintances, organisations, and individuals volunteered to assist. Door-to-door dry grain distribution was carried out for a total of 53 families in Nagnath.
As soon as we learned that approximately 160 families in Tailbaila, Ekole, Bhamburde, and Adgaon, near Lonavla, were in desperate need of food grain kits, we made every effort to provide all possible assistance.

The "Corona" World Disaster Crisis and Service Work...
In collaboration with IRCTC, Khichdi was distributed at the Karvenagar and Pune stations. A very strange situation was seen in many places during Corona's early days. How should we handle this crisis? This was a burning question for many people. Even those with food on their hands, such as small labourers and workers, have no income and are unable to work due to the LOCKDOWN. Railway Administration (IRCTC) was doing great activities in this regard, and "Shiv Seva Pratishthan" also tried to do its part with the help of Railway Administration (IRCTC). We distributed "Dal Khichdi" as a simple but clean and nutritious food in times of need at Pune Station, Karvenagar, and attempted to serve the needy. This helped a lot of people.

Cyclone hit Naganath Village...
Many people were severely affected by the cyclone in June 2020, and the condition of Nagnath village, where we always go, was very sad; not a single house in the entire village had a roof, and many houses had collapsed. As an emergency aid, "Shivseva Pratishthan" sent at least 150 metal sheets of various sizes, as well as wires and nails. Shivseva Sanstha volunteers decided to distribute it to each home in Nagnath village. The appeal was made, and many people rushed to help. The villagers were gathered, and metal sheets and materials worth Rs.60,000/- were distributed to them. Shiv Seva Pratishthan team members donated Three thousand special type of roof bricks. 110 bed sheets were distributed and Indian Railway, Pune division had given 100 blankets. Thank you all for your prompt assistance.
